You can try AssociatedContent.Just register with US zip code.Although they have introduced phone verification now, but you can easily bypass that by getting some already phone verified accounts.

I would use Associated Content for a number of reasons. As stated above, just register as with a US zip code and get a phone verified account for a few dollars. Pm me if you'de like as I can supply you with a verified account quite easily.

Hey guys.. I tried your all ur suggestions over the past few days (except Associated Content .. the proc didn't seem legit) . Here is a list of my findings:
    1. Constant Content: GREAT site... some wonderful work going on there. Good price quotes for deserving writer ... I mean everything , except that it is not for complete beginners who are looking to earn a buck or two through this. The article review takes time (mine is still under review 3 days after submission) and going by the discussions in the forum, the rejection rates are high!!
    2. BlackHatGeeks: You need 25 posts before you can actually submit anything for sale. I guess the forum is new and as of now there is little activity going on there... though seems decent enough... will keep following it to see if it really starts looking up.
    3. Helium.com: Well..... not actually the regular earning type of site....

So where does that leave us... esp considering the question posed by the fellow... I mean he/she wants to earn ... so my suggestion is to join GetAFreelancer.com since it is free to join and is a great place for beginners. You may find it difficult to land a first project but be persistent and once you are able to get a few good reviews things may get better for you. Plus the rates that the buyers will be willing to pay you will also be less if you are a newbie with no feedback... If you have any doubts you can contact me on my email through the blog link mentioned in my signature.

You might also try About.com. Try visiting beaguide.about.com. However, you would have to pass through their rigid training. I think 3 months or so. You would have to constantly provide them with unique articles during this duration.

Most writers at GAF are willing to be paid for $1.50 for a 500-word article. For beginners, yeah, this could be the best way to land a project. But considering the time and effort that you actually put in an article, the rate's kind of unfair.
