Hey shampa, nice to meet you here too By the way, `Demand Studio' supports only "applicants with a valid United States Tax ID."
In addition to splitting the ad impressions at HubPages (60% author, 40% HubPages Inc) they also do pay upfront for articles in their Flagship Hub Program. Though you need to be a Hub Author of good standing before you will be accepted onto the program.
It would be interesting to start a thread with the topic "Site that pays non-American article writers". It looks as if all these sites just pay for applicants from the United States.
That's true. I'm based in the UK and do get frustrated that there aren't so many options open. But Bright Hub and Constant Content pay international members. If you have suggestions then do start that thread !
textbroker.com is another one. Personally, i get (buy) about $400 in articles from there every couple of weeks.
We are looking for sites that provide an option to non-American writers. Txtbroker is definitely not one of them, as the information on their site reveals.
Demand has lowered their prices. The going rate is $5 per article. The editors aren't that great on there. I write for them on/off but I'm not that impressed with their editors. I'm a published writer and I feel like I know more about the subjects than their editors.
I get annoyed with Demand editors sometimes, as well. Last I checked, the rates were between $5 and $15. The rate depending on the style of the article. (They have several article types. Just explanation for those who aren't authors there)
Hi ... check my signature, second site pays one-to-ten cents a word, depending on quality, for 650+ words. You might want to submit a sample, via PM, on DP.
You know, I wondered why they no longer post the prices on their jobs on the main page like they used to. Edit: NM, after going back I see they still do. Just that no one in their right minds would want to write for the prices they have up on their main page. Oh boy! I could earn a WHOPPING EIGHT WHOLE CENTS for writing an article about companies that use robots! With that I could retire! Where do I sign up? Not.
HElium.... If you like to write article, you can get some writing job from DP BST section or getafreelancer too
thanks for all these information...but will any one name a site which accepts non-native writers...?? or will we just have to bid on project to get work...??
