Associated Content, BrightHub, Demand Studios are three that come to mind right away. Though the pay on AC is....not that great. BrightHub does a flat $10 per article last I knew, unless they've changed their rates, and Demand Studios pays $15.

DailyArticle.com is another place to sell articles. Its a site where you choose a price for your article; and believe me although you can't sell your articles straight away, the wait is still worth.

I could sell a few of my articles there at 4-cents-a-word price.

Sadly, AC does not give upfront payments to countries outside US, I guess. Being an indian, we only get pay-per 1000 impressions which is not worth it.

Its best to sell your articles working as a freelancer on DP, NP, sites. Which you can get pay ASAP once the articles are done. But pay is meager as others have stated.

Unless you happen to write quality content. That is like almost 100% unique with great information.

As stated, your best bet is freelance here on Digital Point, I'd suggest if you'd like a good income, find long-term work, but don't bother accepting too much work. I'd suggesting working for somebody who would like long term work; you'll receive much larger pay checks, constantly have work and you'll be able to work out a payment scheme etc. I'd find one client to start off with, if you find your able to handle more work, move onto another client, but only do this if you sure your able to keep both clients happy without breaking any dead lines.

    It's not that way!

@DailyArticle, you get paid if someone purchases your article (an excerpt of your article is what buyers'll read and if it appeals them they buy the article). However, if your reputation is high your articles will be sold without too much of waiting. Yes! DailyArticle pays the paypal route.

Freelancing here on DP is not bad if you can write. Once you build up a good reputation, offers will flow.

    I agree with mrdo's suggestion.

He could try writing for news dailies and mags. I know a friend who writes articles and features for an inflight magazine and he gets paid very well.

But it always pays to learn computers.

You should try adppc(dot)com and go to writer section for further details..... You can get up Rs.500 for an article over 1000 words.

    Regards,

Constant Content pays for articles, but not up front. You can set your own prices, and if someone likes your articles and buys them, CC takes a 35% commission. It's a hefty chunk, but then again, you don't have to worry about non-paying clients.
