I came across a beautifully illustrated site and have forgotten the name of it: It was based on Poland (.pl extension) They were a web-design/graphic design company It had a space theme, with a large planet on the top left, galaxy and rocket The navigation made the page scroll horizontally on click With each navigation 'auto-scroll-right' there was a rocket which would go on a dotted line flight path The name was something like 'web planet . pl' If anyone knows of the site I'd love to see it again. Thanks!
Already tried, no luck. I even browsed through smashing mag's illustrated websites and a bunch of css galleries.. still cannot find it.
I think I know what site you're talking about, although the name escapes me right now. Was it a drawn character waving in front of a rocket? If so, then they've changed their site's design since then. If I recall the name, I'll come back and edit the post.
Haha very cool site indeed. Just not the one I was looking for It's a completelu illustrated site with a space/moon background. Thanks for the effort though. Yes! I had even forgotten about the astronaut waving with the flag on the moon/planet. It's ok if they've changed the site, I'll just use web archive. I'm looking for it so I can get some inspiration from it. Thank you!
Good luck with that. I do not think Web Archive stores images or Flash. If the old site removed either from their server, you will be looking at outlined boxes where the content used to be.
