I created two designs for my new site, Mission Environment, which will basically be an environmentalist site with tips and stuff like that. Design 1: http://www.missionenvironment.com This is the design I started out with. I used Joomla because I was told it would make the site a lot easier to create and maintain. It has been the complete opposite. I find it hard to learn and completely unnecessary for this type of site. Design 2: http://www.biggerhockey.com (dont mind the domain name, just using it to host this design) This design I cooked up this morning. Dont mind the color scheme. The basic layout is what I will use. Which one do you like more and which one do you think has a better chance of hitting big?
I would say the first design looks better because it look fuller (since you used a colored background). The second one looks too bare..
