Google is the best. The only time I used msn was when I could not find my site on google. MSN is faster too but relevance and simplicity is what google offers. Yahoo is jack of all, thousands of links on its home page makes me feel dizzy.

I am surprised that no one has even mentioned about www.vivisimo.com or www.teoma.com. These are excellent search engines, though less well known, which deliver clustered results.
Don't know what are 'clustered' results? Try them and you'll know.

And I have my own 'search' page here: http://googlue.tk :p
It is not a search page, but more of a homepage with useful links...

This was very popular with my previous forum mates, but I have stopped developing it... no time!

Google is usually the best because everyone and their dog uses it, so the competition to get good results is high, so usually the top results are good ones. If you see what I mean.

I think the majority of the people like google because it's main focus is search engine. While Msn and Yahoo have a small search bar.

google obviously... It is fast, simple and actually delivers what you are looking for... I sometimes use altavista or yahoo if I can't find what I want with google after trying many times :)

I had to edit this post to say how much I was impressed with golexa and its page analysis, I like so much, Thanks schmidte for the info

Ive used google since the late 90s after i got fedup with yahoo, and this is for 2 reasons.
    1. The page has no bullshit links everywhere, and you are straight to the point when you first load the page.
    2. The speed of results, and relevancy. I always find what im looking for.

i think google is the best becuase its just a search engine, yahoo and msn are sites with a search engine on them.

i didnt think this many people would choose google, when i search google 50% of the time i get straight BS results, just total junk.

i split my searches and homepage setting between google and msn. if it wasnt for adwords/adsense/gmail i wouldnt even visit google.

No doubt google is the best at the moment but the competition is getting tougher now.
