Which search engine is blocking the referrer headers today

My direct traffic on one site has increased 10 fold over the last 2 days and I find it hard to see where its coming from. All the user agents seem genuine.

All the main engines are as normal but the direct traffic is massive.

Are some search engines blocking referrer headers today or something?

 

I seem to remember hearing MS was blocking ref for FireFox users.
