What makes you think they are not bespoke?

Just found this when I was browsing through Google. I'm involved with HelpHound so thought I'd give you an answer straight from the horse's mouth.

HelpHound is almost completely bespoke - the only bits of code that we didn't write ourselves are the Google Maps and a few bits of JavaScript that are all over the web, e.g. Lightbox for images.

You're also a little out on guessing PHP I'm afraid - it's ASP.

There are only two of us doing hands-on development of the site, with a bigger team running the entire project (ideas, admin, management etc.) - I'm not sure whether to be chuffed that our work has been thought of as 'good enough' to be template-based or whether we haven't been creative enough in our ideas :D

Do pop over and have a look - it's actually a very useful site, even if I do say so myself :)
