    Its a q/a website, forums based on phpbb, vbulletin etc. You could say it is a forum though technically and its a place to discuss

    I agree. Yahoo Answers is a site where users can ask questions and other users can answer them. It's a q/a (questions and answers) site as Munnie indicated.

    It's not a forum per say, it's more of a question and answer type place, kind of like a forum but it's more focused on answers instead, someone wouldn't post a tutorial/give information on something in Yahoo Answers if someone hadn't asked a question about it first, there is a difference between Answers and Forums.

    Its not a forum. It is a site where you ask questions or answer questions with relevant answers. Although its almost like a forum because its also a discussion site.

    Sometime it seems to forum but it is not forum at all. I think it provide is bit accurate answer than forum.
