Hello, I want to learn to do logos and basically every kind of design which doesn't include programming knowledge. Is it Corel a good program for that, I just started to learn with the help of tutorials. I heard Ilustator would be better...
I'm more familiar with Adobe Illustrator to create logos. Look for softwares that creates vectors, not bitmap. Programs are not that important once you've learned the basics. To create the logo, the most important thing is the idea, process, sketches.
You heard right, Illustrator is much better. IMHO Corel is just nice cheap box full of useless tools and weird color managment. ILL is fast, intuitive and compatible with PS. Here is some tutorials for ILL http://vector.tutsplus.com/
Adobe Illustrator is the way to go. You want to use a program that produces vector art. Illustrator is easy to use and there are a lot of excellent tutorials and book out there. Good luck!
I use photoshop design my website logo, I think it works great if you catch the logo idea and every detail.
well i have a years of experience in logo designing if you want to learn or design logo so you should have good concept of the industries and have to a very very command on illustrator
My vote goes to Photoshop, but Illustrator is also very handy. Usually i use them both at the same time.
Use a program that does vector. This way when you resize your logos up or down it will not affect the quality of the logo.
Yes Corel and Adobe Illustrator is a good software for your Logo designing. You can visit Online tutorials. You can do self study on it. Its pretty easy.
Every week I see the same topic from different people. Why don't you search a bit in the forum before opening the same topic 40th time?
Illustrator is the right tool to use for logo designs since it will let you output an vector file directly. You can resize vector files to roadside billboard size without to lose pixel quality.
