Hi DP, I'm Just getting started in the business and I need some pointers towards picking the right products in the right industries. Im having several sites made solely dedicated to CJ products and I can't seem to find the ones with good landing pages that convert well. Any industry is fine, Thanks! Dan
First of all i want to say welcome to CJ and second of all i don't think nobody will tell you exactly the products that they are promoting because if they give you the one that they 're using , you will become a competitor . If they used to make 5 sales a day with this product they will start making 2 because you will start taking the sales away from them . So the best thing you need to do is to choose and test the products to see which one convert more money . some will give you money , some will don't . that 's the only thing i can tell you . Good luck
So far ebay and yahoo's aff has been the best for me and my bank account. I promote it at wezeemall.com...but there's an application that allows you to build unlimited asthetic/professional sites based on any particular ebay category using your cj id of course...its called BANS. Hope this helps
Small electronics work well for me, but are seasonal. I am promoting Lawn and garden products for spring sales now.
Although I do agree that one should do extensive testing,I don't consider the 'competition' thing too seriously because CJ is just too big with way too many affiliates. You would be a direct competitor if we were using the same exact advertising methods and channels...but I don't think it's giving away too much to share which products have sold best for me. Even if we were using the same methods, channels and budget,we'd still have different earnings because your spiritual-matrix/karma/etc. is not the same as mine...unless you're thinking about hacking or something else illegal - which I don't reccomend.
Info page , i was just trying to explain to the new comer that he has to test and see what products work better for him . I wasn't trying to be mean to him . domainloco.net if you think i was too brutal with my answer i want to make an apologize to you that's not in my nature to be mean to people lool . Check my posts and you will see my point . No i wasn't thinking of doing anything like this .
Pick something you know EVERYTHING about - and something that you can actually enjoy creating a site about. My top sites are all niches that I'm personally interested in. I happily update them, I know about the niche, and I'm enthusiastic about it... If you don't know your niche, then you're wasting your time - or at best, you'll be competing with people that will crush you like a bug
I am against the theory of building website base on your interest if there are no buyers in that niche. I always go where the money is. You can literally learn about any niche in matter of days by lurking in the related forums, blogs and websites. Case in point, which do you think is more likely to spend money now? 1. A girl who is desperate to lose 5 pounds by valentine day; 2. A girl who wants to learn Spanish. To your profit, CY
Thing is, you don't know if there's a buyer in your niche until you make the website. Fortunately, I lucked out. My niche is one of my favorite things to talk about.
