    Helloo.. i have a very strange experiance.. when i lower my cpc, my ROI falls and Position falls.. The second doesn't make any surprise, it is what i would expect.. but the first is reaaaally strange for me.. i spend less money for my ads.. and the ROI falls :S

    let say i buy 100 clicks with 0.4 (i spend 40 usd) and i make 80$. IT is 80/40=2

    when i buy 100 clicks with 0.3 ( i spend 30 usd) i make 50. It is 50/30= 1.5

    Any similar experiances? Any idea which position is better for higher Conversion rate and Higher ROI?

    Hi,
    Sure #1,#2 etc matters. But not always #1 is the best position for you. You should test test test. For example #3 position converts better for some keywords in my campaigns.

    I've tested this extensively on a dozen or more accounts, and in the majority of cases, the conversion rate wasn't affected much by the position of the advert, but in a few it was significantly higher in lower positions.

    I assume that your numbers are examples, but you should make sure that your results are definitely due to the position - your conversion rate will vary from day to day anyway, so that might be what you're seeing...

    From my experience, ranged at 6-8 is the best (the very bottom). The reason?

    When a user seaches something, very often, he won't look at the right side ads immediately, he looks the top rank results generated right under they eyes. When they finish looking at the half of the page or about to scroll down, they turn their eyes to the right side for help (if didn't see anything interesting). Guess what positions on these ads do they see Do a test yourself....

    Cheers!

    Always get on the first page. Then the best position (for me) is the lower half. I get lower CTR but ROI is usually the best there.
