Hello guys, please give me idea about meta tag creation. Which points taking in consideration, when creating meta tags ? Give me tips for creating search engine friendly meta tags?
I would suggest using obvious keywords from your niche and using Google's keyword tool but don't worry too much about the meta tags. They are important but only one of many factors in SEO.
You should use your keywords in meta keyword tags and meta descriptions. Meta keyword tags are simply your keywords/key phrases. Search engines do not really consider them nowadays. And a meta description is the text that appears right after your page title in SERPs. Web surfers are also going to read it. So, it should have your keywords and be reader-friendly at the same time. Besides, if you have any duplicate meta data on your site - make it unique for each page.
Only worry about your meta description. This tells the search engines and visitors what your page is about without coming to the content, a good description yields more clicks from searches. Meta keywords don't matter anymore.
@forgottenCreature is right & try to put imp. keywords in your meta description tag. But don't do over stuffing of keywords in meta description tag. It should be catchy as well.
It is not difficult to create so friendly meta tags just check out your competitor websites and do some keyword research. Use that keywords in meta tags but avoid keyword stuffing.
