Which platform websites sell well? Joomla or WordPress?

    Would love to know which platform to build the website? whether with WordPress or Joomla? And which sells well and will be the best to flip...

    Wordpress is more widely used as a platform website. The availability of plugins is so much better in WP that Joomla.

    First of all, sites don't sell well unless they are making money. Very few people ( except noobs) buy a site just because it looks good and has content. Anyone webmaster can build that. Any company would hire someone to build that.

    Joomla is a very specific and limited clientele. Only Joomla people would buy a Joomla website.
    Most everyone has heard of WordPress. Request it even.

    If selling sites just based on looks and content is your business, I wouldn't count on making it by catering to people who know what Joomla is.

    WordPress is by far the most recognized of the 2.
    It's not even close.

    I just checked over at flippa.com - did an advanced search.

    Joomla - 28
    Wordpress - 794

    I believe that the numbers tell the tale.

    Joomla is better e-commercial site than wordpress.
    If you use a small shop, you should do with wordpress.
    Joomla is for large shop and products. Of course, its code is large,too
