    Hello guys,

I have started making blog for my client using wordpress. Beside working on my clients blog I wanna make my own blog. Basically it will be my personal blog so I will write anything that peeps on my mind and when I will have a lot of blog posts (say 50) then I will categorize them accordingly.

So now I want suggestion from you guys about which blogging platform do I use as I am going open my blog on sub domain?

I personally use wordpress for my blog, as it's easy to use and they provide hosting + domains.

I prefer Wordpress CMS. The main advantages for wordpress are :
    • It offers lots of plugins - free and paid, for almost every functionality.
    • Numerous themes to choose from.
    • Is very easy to use - no or only little coding.
    • Its free :) !!! (though you will have to buy a domain and hosting space)

wordpress offers the easiest user interface but there are other great CMS platforms that are good as well (better for developers/designers) for example drupal and joomla.

WordPress is the best Platform for blogging. Joomla is also a full CMS and it’s easy to create almost any kind of site with it such as a regular website for businesses, eCommerce, blogs or even social networks. It’s powerful, easy and has a great community backing it.

Although there are other good CMS available out there, my personal favourite is Wordpress. Firstly there are countless themes and plug-ins available, that can make your design and development tasks pretty simple. Also there are literally thousands of wordpress developers, so there is no lack of support with regards to any issues with wordpress. Also content updation and SEO related tasks are easier to handle with wordpress than other CMS softwares. So I would suggest that you go with Wordpress for your blog.
