I have personal and premier account but for now I have both premier account due to some accident , I am going to deny payment through credit card when I have click upgrading besides it accidentally. Now I am writing for many times now but they have not downgrade my account back to personal account again. As what I have known you can have personal and premier/business account at the same time.

Actually if you have both a personal and a premier account, you are not allowed to receive any money to your personal account as it would be a breach of contract.

I know it can be easy to forget which email address is associated to which account. From what I read here, the paypal system which does downgrade of accounts make be broken.

I have alsolutely no idea about the fees. I'm currently using paypal personal and I would love to hear more about the cons of upgrading to Premier as I'm planning to do so.

The advantages of upgrading to a Premier account outweights the cons.

    1) Premier accounts you the ability to use your account to make money, personal accounts are personal accounts which means they are made mainly for spending money.

    2) Premier accounts allows you to receive payments from all members from all the 190+ support Paypal countries no matter how they pay (paypal balance, credit card or echecks). Personal only allows you to receive payments from existing sellers from the 40 countries which can do Send/Receive, you cannot receive payments if your customers does not have any paypal balance.

    3) Premier allows unlimited credit card receipts while Personal allows only 5 credit card receipts a year at a much higher fees.

    4) Premier account comes with Merchant Features which allows you to use the account to receive money for sales of goods and services while the Personal account does not.

    5) Premier account allows you to receive unlimited amount of money each month (subjected to country limits) while the Personal account since it is not for use with business, is limited to $500 a month. Paypal can get suspicious if you receive too much money with a personal account.

Since the personal account is not to be used for business, receiving paypal balances is free while the premier account comes with some fees for all incoming payment but you have no restriction.

To see the fees, go to Paypal website at http://www.paypal.com and click on 'Fees' at the bottom of the page.
