You need a premier or business account to accept credit cards. Keep the premier if you are going to do online business.
Agree, one moment or another you will need either a premier or business account, unless you are going to limit your activity to personal affairs.
Yeah there is no harm in upgrading to a business account and I have had one for years so I recommend it.
It really depends on what you want to do, in theory the Personal Account is more for someone who pays more times than he is paid. If you plan to do business, Paypal rules dictate that you should have a Premier Account at least or a Business Account. You are charged a very small fees for each incoming transaction but it allows you to deal with people paying with echeck and credit cards too. I find that a lot of people do that, more than those just funding with Paypal funds. So personally I would say keep the Premier account. Just mark up your services or products by the few cents which would charged when you use this account and you be glad you did. There is however no rules which prevents you from having one Personal account and one Business Account.
Ok good guide people.. So i have to stay with premiere account, right ? How much i have to pay for receiving fund (suppose $10) to my paypal account ? And also how can I open a US account from India ? What requirements are needed ?
Correct. http://www.ppcalc.com/ Nothing extraordinary. Just fill in the details, choose India as your location.
Don't create a US account if you are not located in the US. Just sign up as an Indian user since India is an approved country. You probably need a credit card to verify your Paypal account so that you can lift the receiving and sending limits. Incidentally, from what I read, a Personal Account only limits you to a maximum of $600 of funds transaction a month, quite limiting if you are doing business. If someone sends you $10, you get $9.31 (fees being 3.9% + 30cents).
Open a personal account separately. If someone is sending money from their Paypal account ask them to send to your personal a/c
