You can keep using this account. If the amount of payments are not too big, then this is the best account for you.

Well if you are doing small transactions then personal account is best for you, but if you are expecting to receive big money in future then you can upgrade them to premier account but they will charge some fee. You can only open business account if you have registered business.

Both accounts are free to open (premier and business) but you need to pay (Fee) for each transaction in these accounts.

Both accounts are free to open they charge you more when you receive your payments, but for now it's best that you stick to the premier account. [IMG]

As far as I know, personal account is just for friends and family.......If you earn money by selling items online, you should use a Premier or Business account.

I believe in the latest fee update PayPal changed it so that all types of accounts pay similar fees. Having a Premier/Business account gives you more options, like receiving payments from credit cards.

I was told by a PayPal representative that PREMIER and BUSINESS do not vary in fees, however the account type affects the FEATURES and total transactions allowed per day/month. In normal accounts you do not have the benefit of IPN I believe whereas PREMIER has this available to use, business accounts have it too, but they also have the benefit of creating multiple user(s) and receiving/sending payments under the REGISTERED business name.

This is depend on the amount of money your received.
For example paypal personal account only can accept and withdraw limit is lower than business account.

Its all depend on your Need. Paypal Offer different typs of Account Personal, Premier and Business depending on your requirements. If you Only need to Received money from site and or individual transfer then Personal account is best for you. So its depend on your needs.

    Hi,

You can keep using personal for personal use only, eg. receive payment from affiliate, receive money from your friends, etc.

You can upgrade to (or you can open one account again) premier/business if you need to accept credit card payment. You need premier/business when doing your business or PP will suspend your account if you use your personal account for business activity.

As far as I know, premier or business account are same for fee. The difference between them only for the personal business or corporate business. CMIIW

    Thank you

(sorry for my english :( )

Personal account are for your personal use. Premier and business account are for those who have many transactions.
