beside paypal there is more payment system you can use and one of it is alertpay or perfectmoney.com in transactions both could act like a great middle man to hand the money to each side and as announcements there is $0 transfer fee with perfectmoney in the year 2009

Moneybookers: They have 20s currencies, no multicurrency accounts, located in UK, deposit via bank wire, credit card, API with md5 if I don't forget it, sms alerts too, send fax, sms too. If transactions are going to be in regular basis then you should open Paypal or Moneybookers account or else just ask him to pay via Western Union or XOOM.
