    I would say here in The Netherlands definitely Ideal.nl. It is a initiative from the mayor Banks (ING,ABN Amro) and is support on almost all webshops.

    But if we would have ability to receive paypal I think it will be most popular in short time.

    Paypal is easily the most trusted source in the United States. In my opinion (and from what I've heard from others), if the country supports it, paypal is the popular way to go.

    PayPal is quite widely used in my country for el. payments, but some of major banks doesn't supports it.
    Untill recently SMS payments for various goods & services at webshops was a popular option but due to
    new tax policies coming to power it's no longer so. Other payment gateways by popularity: WebMoney
    (WMZ/WMR), MoneyBookers, also Liberty Reserve, AlertPay & partially Neteller. I do hope this helps..

    In Eastern Europe, especially in the ex USSR countries, WebMoney (webmoney.ru) and Yandex Money (money.yandex.ru) are the most popular.
