Which payment method is suitable for personal domain sale?

I want to sale some of my domains that parked at godaddy.com, and would like to hear your recommendation on payment method.
Of course I won't take credit cards.
I don't want to deal with check and money order (I'm afraid that I will get charged in the payment is not honor by the bank issued it.)
Do you think PayPal is a good method to do this kind of transaction? Should I also either take check or money order to make more choice for buyer (because some don't have PayPal account and don't want to create one.)
If I take either check or money order as my second method beside PayPal, what processing policy should I enforce with it (only transfer when the payment clear, charge extra for un-honor payment, etc.)
Could someone give me some pointers so that I would know what to tell my potential customers.
    Thanks in advance.

Thank you very much, I just read some basic information on that site. I will have to find out how they handle domain name transaction (how I send my domain for Buyer to inspect).
That's a very fast response from you.

you can accept paypal safely provided that you do not transfer the domain until the funds have settled. if the buyer uses a credit card and charges back later is a problem. encourage the buyer to pay by masspay and then it can't be charged back. escrow will be the lowest risk.

Hi, fellow domainer. :D So, just to make sure, when you say "settled," you mean transferred out of paypal to your own bank, right, or are you using that term here another way for this?

Here's a thought: how about just insisting on it then instead of just encouraging, if it's available to the buyer and if that's the answer to these paypal horror stories that are now strewn over a thousand miles of different forums (and even the subject of a sticky here at DP)?

I've read that moneybookers has protection for the seller, so perhaps that's another instant pay method worth looking into for domain sales.

As for escrow, yes, escrow.com is certainly an excellent service. It's best to do internal transfers to the buyer's account with the registrar or reseller of the domain instead of external change of registrar transfers. If everyone happens to be online, this can all go very quickly after payment, sometimes within around an hour or less, and then you only have to wait a bit longer for the final confirmation and funds from escrow.com.

The problem with moneybookers is that you can not register if your in the USA. I would stick with escrow or paypal instead.

Yeah, that would definitely be a problem.:) Thanks for that info about MB, ascii0101. It's good that you can use PayPal at Escrow.com, too.
