Which paid services do you recommend to help get your site ranked higher in Google?

Say for example I made a site on the marvel superhero character "Hulk". And it's invisible in the search engines for the keywords "Hulk" and "Incredible Hulk" but has tons of content. Obviously nobody will find the site because there's so much competition for those keywords. Is there any service out there which can get the site listed within the first 3-7 pages of Google?
How much might they charge and what methods might they use to get your site ranked higher in the search engines for those search terms?

This thread might belong in the SEO section but I'm not sure. Since the subject is Google afterall.:)

Trust me, you won't get any traffic being on pages 3-7 the front page is where it's at and especially the top 5 results.

If you have tons of content, start getting links to your internal pages and you will find you can rank for 1,000's of the less competitive phrases and get just as much traffic in many cases. Alot of them convert like a freight train also compared to single generic words.

With the niche I'm involved in, you don't find anything but movie trailers for the first 2 or so pages in Google until you finally get to the real fan-sites and content-heavy sites. The people interested in superhero characters(wallpapers, galleries, collectibles) aren't just looking for movie trailers, hence they will search past the first page for more information/content. And the sites that are listed after page 2 and all the way up to page 6 are getting hundreds of views daily.
Sure, if I had a niche involving selling vacuum cleaners or video games, then being ranked in the first page would matter.
But the pages with a lot of content that are listed even after page 3 in a Google search are getting a lot of traffic and making money.
For example, do a Google search on Spider-man. You'll find nothing but official movie sites and wikipedia info for Spider-man on the first page and half. When you get to page 3 or so is when the big sites show up and those sites are getting thousands of views.
