    I am builing blogs that are;
    -100% hand written
    -Trendy
    -Seo optimised articles
    -a very few outging links
    etc..

    Soon, I will link these blogs to my main site.

    My question is , which would be the most effective way to link ?

    I am fairly sure all those links will weigh in the same as far as PR and SEO purposes go, but if you want someone to actually click it the header would be the best followed by area #2. Just make sure the link is on the homepage and static on all other pages :)

    Update:
    The h1 linking had a negative effect on published domains. My oppinion is "no not give an external do follow link to anyone with h1 or h2 tag."
