1)let's say i have a page("my page") which url would work better keeping seo in mind:

    domain.com/mypage.html
    domain.com/my page.html
    domain.com/my_page.html
    domain.com/mypage/
    domain.com/my page/
    domain.com/my_page/

2)also as parent folder/category which one would work better

    domain.com/mycategory/
    domain.com/my category/
    domain.com/my_category/
    domain.com/my+category/

You can use with no-space and dash except underscore.

Mod Rewrite does NOT help with landing keywords, content does.
Rather spend your time adding meta tags and relevant keywords to your content and content pages.

I'll make another post about se and "friendly" urls later, for the moment this should help you

Hmm by that i suppose you mean you've added meta tags and relevant keywords in the content?

If so then you wont need friendly urls at all, for all google cares you can have regular php id urls like

    index.php?id=1
    index.php?id=2
    index.php?id=3

Friendly urls in no way play a role in getting indexed for a certain keyword :)

    Edit
I would like to recommend having urls categorized by dates like /2007/06/27/page.html

if anything, those help a bit :)

    I would use domain.com/my_page/ and domain.com/my_category/ or domain.com/my-page/ and domain.com/my-category/.

As long as the words are separated there isn't really going to be any difference.

even with space? cause browsers change that to "%20" and "my page" is same as "my%20page"

And you based that upon what? What tests have you done to prove this? I've never seen any SEO expert corroborate what you said. But, of course there are so many other factors it would be rather hard to test.

Yes i have done tests on this, on the most famous anime episodes online stream, i made 2 sites one was on ids and one had keywords in them like (one-piece-230)

they both had the same results but both sites were indexed differently, now if your site has a history of say 9+ months, yes you MIGHT get keyworded urls bolded in google otherwise its tough or not possible.

Sites with authority or more then 70k backlinks CAN have seo urls and be indexed on it, its not just backlinks as well, its trust and authority you gain at google after a long line of content indexed with them.

    New sites, cant.

agreed, that would work best to separate keywords in the url, that is what vbSEO does to thread url's.

domain.com/mypage.html and domain.com/mycategory/ are Suitable because we can't use any special sign or spaces in URL.

    The first one - i.e domain.com/mypage.html
html page is quick to rank and search engine and friendly. Also users feel here better.
