which one will be better?

    hello,

    I do not have good seo knowledge.

    index.php is the main site. on the index.php there is listings. to go to second page will it be better to do

    index.php?page=2

    or

    /listings/index.php?page=2

    Any idea?

    Both the url is better and also it's depended on you whether the pages would be on the root directory or any other internal directories. If the both pages are have different category then you may use internal directories for it. Just the pages should be reach to each other not more than 3 clicks.

    doesnt matter on both;. its up to ur site nature. SE doesnt care the links, but its care if its broken ." index.php?page=2" feel easy to type so m suggesting that
