  1. #1
    1. Google Adsense
    2. Yahoo Publisher network
    3. MSN Adcenter

I think MSN Adcenter will be #1 as only they can advertise both OS and web.

    What do you think?

Google shall remain KING only if it refuses to acquiesce to the demands of the almighty and omnipotent U.S. DOJ and disallows "them" from being able to spy on us, Google users.............even if you have nothing to hide, you should be scared my friends - what starts out as a seemingly simple request for generic Google user search information can and will turn into a witch hunt whereupon all search engines will be required to release any and all privately held search and user information to our government in the name of preserving freedom, fighting terrorism and safeguarding our liberties.........................
Thomas Jefferson once said: "Ignorance is preferable to error, and he is less remote from the truth who believes nothing than he who believes what is wrong"................................
Islandhusker says: Before we trample upon the sacredly held individual privacy rights of the average American, let us take a few precious moments to debate where we are going, where we have come from and most importantly, whether we shall be able to put the "snoop genie" back into the bottle once we have turned away and watched it fly swiftly past freedoms' gate.

I LEAVE YOU WITH THIS DITTY FOR YOUR ENJOYMENT AND AMUSEMENT:

    up and down
    we travel around
life grants us this brand new day -
    off we go
    to and fro
let the child out to play

    we've just begun
    havin' fun
so much to do and see -
    the child within
    puttin' on a grin
    oh what harmony !

have you got the rhyme ?
will you spend the time ?
granting the child some space -
    yes, soon you will discover
    childish trust for one another
i can tell by the smile on your face

    peace................islandhusker

MSN hasn't been able to scratch its own ass without needing assistance in the last two years. I wouldn't hold up much hope Johnny Come Never will ever get back into the SE game with any impact. Yahoo on the other hand seems to be "on the ball" faster than MSN, so I have hope for them. But as to pioneering -- man, is ANYONE out there faster, smarter, and more forward-thinking than Google? I don't see them losing any ground in 2008 or for a long while.

I think Google will remain the number 1 for a very long time to come. They just have too much competitive advantage over the others when it comes to search. I think MSN will either overtake Yahoo by volume of search or possibly even buy them out if they want to compete with Google. The $35-40billion or so sitting in their coffers will have to be made use of some day rather just give out some big dividend checks to shareholders. I think Microsoft is just waiting for the right time to pounce.

MSN will win, when Vista comes out, with integration of all services like Live mail etc.

It will be the market leader
