Which one of the Adsense Publisher ID is valid??

Hi Friends,
I have a doubt..

Which one of the following publisher IDs format is a vaild publisher id?

pub-????

or

ca-pub-???

Me and my friend both r Adsense Publishers my ID is of the form pub-??, my friend says his id is ca-pub-??? which one is correct..

Iam much concerned if something bad happens to him if he shows ads with a wrong ID..

Plz confirm..

Mine is ca-pub. They're both valid, the ca one just means he lives in Canada

 

They're both the same.

 

Mine is ca- and I don't live in Canada.

 

I am not sure. Well... that is what i voted, but they are probably both correct.

K, nevermind that then. It might say ca- for all other countries besides US.

 

I live thousand miles away from Canada and my ID is ca-

 

Yup, guess that means that ca- is for all international people.

Anyway my doubt is if ca-pub-? is also a valid Adsense Id or not..

I'm from Holland and mine is just pub-...

 

In my account settings, I see "ca-pub-" , the generated code for banners shows "pub-" ...

 

If you look in the Account Settings section within the My Account tab, it shows that:

AdSense for Content: ca-pub-xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
AdSense for Search: partner-pub-xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Referrals: ca-ref-pub-xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

but in the AdSense code it shows just "pub-xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx"
