which one makes more money for you PPC or Affiliate programs

ppc contextual ad networks made more money for me always .is it quite true for anyone else too.

 

It really depends no your efforts
imo affiliate brings more money in short time than ppc.

 

I think it depends on the segment in which you are active. I run some travel sites and affiliate programs are more productive. Anyhow there may be segments where is no appropriate affiliate program available and then PPC would bring higher results.

I promote affiliate offers on search using Google, Yahoo, and MSN and am now making enough money from these programs to quit my boring full-time job.

 

Affiliate by a LONG way, but im trying to improve on my PPC stuff because it seems to be more of a stable income. My affiliate stuff tends to fluctuate alot.

I'm running several offers from the Clickbooth affiliate network in the dating, ringtones, and education areas and making a nice profit doing so. I don't have a website so I take their campaigns and place them on major search engines using PPC. It has taken some practice to make a decent profit, but now I'm making enough money from this alone to support myself. So I guess a more appropriate answer to the original post would be a combination of the two for the publisher side.

If you're looking at this from the advertiser's side - you have a product or service you are trying to sell - I would recommend affiliate programs hands down. Just make sure you run your campaign with a trusted network. Look into how they screen their affiliates and how strong their relationships are with their top advertisers. Also check into where the majority of their traffic comes from; search and email tend to be the most targeted which equals higher quality leads.

 

Both a couple hundred a day. Around the same mark. CJ.com has a lot of high paying programs depending on the niche of the site.

 

Of course it denends on you and your opportunities. Well known and reliable affiliate programs provide you with stable income.

I agree with what everyone has said so far. On one of my sites ppc will not work. My users come to my site to buy or sign up for something. You must have the right program to get them to sign up.

Definitely high paying affiliate programs. Which ones? My opinion is casino and poker sites, but double check if they are legal. I'm a big affiliate for one.

You didn't mentioned pharmacy affiliate programs. All you have to do is find an effective, having a good reputation one.
