I would say there are quite a few and it depends on your individual taste and preferences. However, I find it very easy to display my portfolio (which are themes with pictures ) through wordpress.... but I am a blogger! lol.. anyway, for you Joomla should do the trick, or Drupal... but when it comes to compatibility, I will suggest you go with Joomla...
