    Normally I go to 3edomains.com to find the expired domains and register the domains in powerhoster.com

    powerhoster.com is the reseller of WWD, but they set the cheapest prices the WWD allows. I think it is a good deal for me.

    I suggest you to join domain reseller program if you would like to enjoy higher discounted domain pricing as it goes with the credits you spent on domain registration, meaning the more you register for a new domain or making transfer the higher discount you will get from the registrar

    Don't do this, unless you plan to move the domain to another registrar. It is something like $30/year to renew it. I choose either namecheap or name.com. They both of free whois info protection.

    Although godaddy is more popular, I have heard great things about namecheap. I personally think godaddy is not very intuitive for people starting out.
