That's not true. From what I know about Israel, they developed their nukes quietly without anyone knowing. Actually even USA was surprised and a bit pissed off when they found out, but it was too late. Furthermore, Israel makes and develops ts own weapons. From tanks (Merkava), to rifles (Uzi, Galil), to anti-missile systems (Hetz), to military satellites, to helicopter guiding systems, to whatever you want. In the meantime Iran is using oudated Soviet tanks (T-60, T-72), outdated American jet fighters (F14), and shitty North Korean variants of old Soviet missiles (scuds, etc). As a matter of fact I haven't heard of one Iranian-invented weapon. Although it'd be a very close call if the war started... Iranians really outnumber Israeils.
Even without nukes, Israel hands down would win a war against Iran. They have superior tanks, superior aircrafts, and probably better trained soldiers. It wouldn't be the first time Israel had been attacked by a Middle East country.

Nothing in these articles talks about them *knowingly* helping make *nukes*. As a matter of fact it states Everything in the wikipedia article hints that they were helping with the peaceful program, which makes sense for Israel as a country that doesn't have any oil resources. The only thing that "ties" France to actual nukes in there is: Which is a speculation, based on "allegedly". Anyway, I've read a pretty large book not too long ago on development of nuclear power in different countries, and my knowledge is based on that, and I might of course be wrong.
I hope there is never a war between Iran and Israel, but if I had to place my bet on one country, then I would pick Israel. I would not underestimate Iran though, I think they would utilize al-qaeda thugs and use there ties to restrict oil to countries that tried to help Israel. If Iran attacked them it would be like an attack on the US, because we love the Israelis. So, I don't think there would ever be a war exclusively between Israel and Iran. If Iran ever attacked Israel, I would fully support helping Israel.

Iran hasn't threatened to wipe Israel of the map, it said they should be wiped off the map, for their crimes against humanity. Also, Israel did have help from the USA in the late 40's and 67, since all of their guns, military, bombs etc is payed for by USA tax payers money (3 Billion a year).
