Is it better to build backlinks to point to site's front page or inner page? If I had a website londontaxis-info dot com or somename dot com/londontaxis.html, and I'll build backlinks with anchor text "London Taxis" is it better to use domain name with keywords? Does Google treat both pages equally? Sorry this is a little bit confusing but maybe you understand.
It's always better to have domain londontaxis.com but it really depends on your websites. As you might create a website uktaxis.com and then have uktaxis.com/londontaxis.html and thus your london links should point to that page not domain.
Its always better to have KWs in a domain for search engine purposes. Now for brandability that's a different story...
I think it's better if you have links pointing to all your pages but concentrate fist on your main page you could say submit an article to a directory and have your anchor linking back to your main page with a link on that page to an inner page which also contains your article that will get both your pages indexed from one link. there but if you're after more traffic in quick time you can use Google alerts tis is all explained here free-web-traffic.net I hope this helps
i always prefer the homepage, because you can have only one homepage per a site - so it`s the most importat page.
