PPC and SEO both are effective but both of them have there benefits and drawbacks. PPC is fast result oriented while SEO takes time. PPC provide short term results while SEO provide long lasting results.

There is no right or wrong answer here. PPC can give you an instant hit and get you to the top straight away, it can also help you plug holes where organic competition is very strong. Ideally have both working well would be best.

Depending on your efforts, SEO is a quality way of gaining profit for FREE! Yet this process takes time. Many business' and companies go for the paid route to skip the process, link sharing, keyword generation, and analyzing and tracking conversions and leads. For fast sales PPC is the way to go but if your in it for the long run and want to reap the benefits then SEO and SEM is the way to go! Find a quality SEO/SEM company or read for yourself to learn the process.

Definitely both work for your site! The main goal is to be visible because it is a numbers game. The more traffic you have, the more you sell your products and services.

We create landing pages for PPC and drive traffic to the landing pages in AdWords. These pages have a phone number and form to capture leads and conversions.

For SEO, it is slower, but also worth it. We have clients who only use our services for SEO and get results with phone calls and leads. They are happy with the results because they gain clients just with natural SEO. Of course, they pay for our services so it isn't free and we do the work monthly to keep it up to date and gain traction for keywords.

Clients who use both AdWords and SEO services with us base their entire business off of AdWords mostly for quick leads and sales. They mainly sell products. They also receive leads through organic SEO, but the main part of their business is from AdWords and they depend on that.

It's all an experiment. Why not try both and see what works for you?

Try looking at them not as separate options, but as complementary. I like to look at it this way: SEO is an investment for long-term. SEA is instantly buying your visitors.

In my opinion you should always consider doing both right. But while SEO won't get you immediate results, Adwords will (or can). SEO will cost you time, SEA will cost you money. Both have an ROI. If you get a positive ROI on both, why not have SEO as well as SEA campaigns?

Also Adwords is perfect for gathering useful gaining information about keywords your audience is using. Also you can very easily validate new landing pages by buying visitors.

My 2 cents: invest in SEO and focus on getting a positive ROI on Adwords.

Use them for different goals. PPC for virtually instant traffic.... while at the same time you should be building links for SEO in the knowledge that this will take alot longer to be effective but will be more beneficial in the long run. Also - different buyers use PPC differently. Some B2B buyers are happy to look to Google ads for services... whereas consumers of certain products or people searching purely for information may be more skeptical.

Both have equally importance in their places..... But most of the times.. organic result is the best that means "SEO"

For fast results definitely PPC, but then begin working on your SEO strategy alongside this, as already mentioned it will take time but it is something to fall back on if you don't have the funds for PPC. Here is a great video one of our Affiliate Managers made with some awesome PPC tips and how to get started with Google Adwords: A great video for beginners

I agree, Paid traffic can be great for a short term boost while you set up your SEO. It can give valuable insight to what will yield conversions. If you are getting results with adwords it can be a machine that you can pump money into and see the results almost instantly. Its something you can test and have all the facts to build it up. SEO will take more time but will be just as valuable.

The question shouldnt be ADwords or SEO it should be Adwords and SEO

I'm a bit tired to see the same question every time I visit some SEO-forums and so on)

Let`s think about that a bit. Let`s imagine that PPC is worth then SEO. Then why does it exist? Why so much people use it? Why google make money on AdWords?) We should understand that SEO and PPC both are just the instruments for Internet Marketer. Both have positive and negative. Usually in my work we even don't need to choose between them - we take both.
