    Both are good.
Depends on your business as well.

In Twitter, you're limited with total 140characters per tweet while Facebook you can write more to let the customer decide.

I like Twitter a lot. Facebook really limits how many people see my posts. I get much more interaction with my Twitter posts.

Twitter is more effective, all the way. Facebook can be a tedious task to handle sometimes which if compared to twitter, is a bit tough even while tweeting is just something which you can go in volumes and that too in a shorter span of time.

Both of them are good for marketing. Facebook has advertising which could generate viewers and is good for any business. But you have to think of your niche and where you could get more readers, visitors and buyers. If you use both, that should help you gaining success for your business.

I think all 3 social medias are great in their own ways, twitter has given me the most traffic though. But then again Facebook ads are cheap, targeted and work like a bomb! You cannot leave Google+ out of this fight :)

Agree with you IMMozie. These three FB, Twitter and G+ are important together for social media marketing.
