Which one is important Page Rank or SERP

According to me both are important but at present SERP.Create back links as you can create by Directory Submission,Social Bookmarking and Article Submission and many other steps of Off Page SEO.If your keywords are on top in Search Engine then traffic will increase and then automatically Page Rank will improve.So first concentrate on Off Page SEO.

 

PR is one of the factors, but other there are factors as well, both on page and off page.

 

But customer always notes our page rank is high or not..we have to impress customer in that page rank plays a important role, we can't allow customer to jump another website because of page rank..

 

i think SERP is more important then PR.

As a business, unless you are in the business of selling your domain, PR is essentially meaningless. I think some people maybe slightly confused by the terminology perhaps.

SERP - search engine results page : in the context of this thread I believe you are asking about the importance of ranking your site well in the search engines. This is of the utmost importance because this is how you get free organic traffic to your website.

PR - Google pagerank : this is a ranking distributed by a Google Algorithm which, unless you are in the field of internet marketing, domain selling, or link selling, you have no idea it even exists.

Therefore it is meaningless. I have a several PR 0 sites which rank well, bring in traffic, and make money. The last part is truly the only part that matters to me.

I suggest you don't focus on PR at first. Go and get you some strong backlinks for your site and absolutely turn your attention to SERPS, simply because they are more important than PR. This would certainly be the way to go.

In this case, the PR8 looks good but the optimization for the other site was better.
