Well i prefer Organic linking is better than Paid linking. This is because the organic links are not temporary but the links generated by pain services are temporary and will ask you for fees from time to time.

If its quick results you're after then PPC is the way forward, but the click through rates are much lower than organic listings.

Ideally organic links are preferred, but for some niches they take time, and many folks would rather find out what is profitable soon, the best way of doing this is via paid links

Paid link is a short cut method to get a good ranking but it also need to be genuine and relevant to your site. But how long you will be afford to do that as it will make penny out of your pockets. So it will be better to go for organic ranking. As it is free and also guarantee a long time ranking in top of the SERP results.

In depends on what you're looking for. If you need a short, quick burst of traffic, paid linking is your best friend. While expensive, you stand a great chance of pulling interested users to your website. The question is whether it's sustainable to draw traffic in this manner.

Organic SEO is ideal for long-term strategy. It's not something that can be done in a few weeks, and should be carefully planned. Overall, a combination of both strategies will do the job perfectly.

What I would suggest if you have a monthly marketing budget of $500 or more is to do both. In order for your paid traffic (SEM) to work correctly you have to optimize your content to the specific keywords that you're trying to target. It's both art and science as is Organic SEO. If you start out by testing your market with SEM then you will have a better idea of what your converting traffic would be for when you start to do the Organic SEO for your site.
