I just wonder which is better for seo? do they have same effect? lets assume abcdef.com my site and let's assume ckeyword stands for my content related keyword a) ckeyword.abcdef.com b) abcdef.com/ckeyword1-ckeyword2/ c) abcdef.com/ckeyword1_ckeyword2/ d) abcdef.com/ckeyword1_ckeyword2.htm e) abcdef.com/ckeyword1-ckeyword2.htm so which is better? what do you think?
All the options are same only the main point here is what you are going to write inside that page. That matters most. So, don't bother about confusing with the keywords and the url name. That is one of the point in considering the relevancy of the page. But you have the better url name but no content will not be useful. Do you want to create domain on the keyword or one single page?
I think you should worry the most about what is written on your page, try to put keywords in your writing to maximize your SEO.
thanks for your answers, there will be 5 internal links for the site, it will be a freelancer programmer site, I have really good domains for the keywords, I have three different domains they will all serve for the same purpose but they will have different content, I have created a small website for one of them, because of the keywords I guess I am 1st on yahoo and 3rd on google for those specific keywords, I am working on the sites of the other two domains. is Keyword1Keyword2.com better than a pageranked keyword3.com which has keyword1 and keyword2 in it's content, when someone searchs keyword1 keyword2 in google?
Name it according to what you think will be most helpful to your users. Google also caters to your users - if you do the same, you're aiming for the same goal as Google, and you can focus on user retention as opposed to pleasing the constantly changing habits (algorithms) of search engines. It's also worth noting that the advantage of using a URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) is that you don't have to mess with file extensions - which can be a hassle to update if you ever move from static to dynamic pages, for example. You'll typically find URI's used in CMS (Content Management Systems) such as Wordpress, Drupal, Joomla, etc. If you're going to be writing lots of content, I recommend checking these out - they're all open source.
I personally like using the format "abcdef.com/ckeyword1-ckeyword2/" but this is definitely less important as people have mentioned. I wouldn't use the subdomain version though (ckeyword.abcdef.com). Google may see this as a completely different website than abcdef.com.
domains are just effecting a bit, but be attentive no your content what you have to put inside the page. domain extensions never effect between one and two, e.g it doesnot matter if you use abcdef.com/ckeyword1/ OR abcdef.com/ckeyword1.htm OR html or php etc
