Which one is better for improve adsense income?

I am newbie here and need to ask about adsense. Which one would be better between

- Create one site with fresh contents updated regularly and stick with them to make a big buck just from one site. Make some visitor loyalty.
- Create many site (20+) with 5 unique/useful articles each site and not update frequently, just for 5 articles at started and may update for 1 article/month later.

 

If you comparing one site with 20 sites, updated one a month I think the second option could bring better result, but you have to promote all these sites and this can generate much more costs than a single site...

 

I am not sure a 5 page site will be all that good unless the content is highly desired.

 

That's right, it depends what Keo means by 'often update'.

 

Diversify and win , however don't spread your efforts too much

 

I would 20 would be too many, especially for a newbie. Promoting and maintaining that many sites would be very time consuming.

There is some value in having multiple sites. Diversification is always a good thing. It also gives you a broader experience and lets you experiment more.

I would start with 3 - 4 sites. Work on them for a while, to find out which ones work and which ones don't. Stop putting effort into the ones that don't and start new ones based on your experience.

 

I'm a bigger fan of quality brings quantity. Meaning you're better off to make one good quality site than have 20 average ones. That said I run a couple of sites, but I spend a lot of time looking after and developing them all simultaneously, so I'm not neglecting my sites or services.

Its so easy to make a mini site and get 100 uniques a day to it instantly just from wiki, most people don't even realize how many wiki topics are never edited and the traffic these 'dormant' pages get.
Then theres a thousand social sites, groups, forums, blogs, your own methods etc without even including search engine traffic a mini site can have at least 500 uniques a day right off the bat.
I only have 2 main sites, these include thousands of pages of original content, a lot of money spent on link building, content writers, hosting, features etc whilst they earn well, nothing is as simple as slapping up a 2 page site with a researched keyword and dropping a few links.
