Which one is better .com or info

mycar.com or car.info, I would have gone in for mycar.com, I will also register the info, it maybe of some value cause you said that all com,net,org were registered.

 

I don't think .com or .info has effect on SEO.
But I would definitely think that many people would mistakenly type yoursite.com if your site is yoursite.info.

 

always go for .com

 

I would think .com is a better choice.

As people will usually think of .com rather than .info (for website domain names)

Setback: It may cost more to invest.

.com is the best if you're planning to start a blog for blogging purpose

 

car.info sound like only share information. Why not go for car.biz , car.net, car.org , or even with your country domain name. I feel other is much more better than info, because .info this sound like Wikipedia that sharing info only and not attractive to others. and .info is mostly company use for their company background one. If you use as main domain , then i really do not prefer to use .info as a choice. Or you maybe look for longer domain name with car keywords and with .com

Never buy .info because it's cheap and usually used for scam sites. I recommend you use .com in any case, if not just buy .net or .org only. That's all.

 

It seems the general consensus here is the same as it is on other forums I've bounce around. Use .com, .net. or .org whenever possible. As someone pointed out earlier, people's minds generally "default" to a .com extension when they think of website addresses.

As for the SEO aspect, the tld doesn't have anything to do with it. In other words, with all other things being equal you can get a .info to rank just as high as a .com, or any other tld for that matter.

 

.com looks better but it doesnt make any difference if you choose a .info or a .net. I use all of them on my sites and there is no difference

 

i dont think its good to register a similer Domain!
register one like ThatCar.com or Cars.com or IlikeCars.com

 

.COM is more common and what people always remembers. But if you can market that .INFO and rank it then it is okay.

 

.com is better and more commonly used by people than .info and many people use .info more as it is cheap than .com

As everyone else said, .com tends to be better.

Even if its taken, I think something like keywordx.com is better than keyword.info
