depends on what you're intentions are. wordpress has more flexibility with plugins, and you never have to worry about getting accounts suspended. blogger is good because it has high pr status and is easy to use, has integrated adsense.
I think Wordpress is good if you have your own domain and hosting space. You have a bigger and better control.
Your question makes no sense at all sorry, if code renders a web page on someones screen you can run Adsense on it. How good the said page is depends on "you" and not on who developed a platform.
If you use a self-hosted Word Press, it is better because there is much more flexibility and plug ins that allow you to do much better SEO and tweaking. If you are talking about Word press.com, they do not allow the integration of Adsense or any other ads on their blogs. In that case blogger is your only choice between those. Self-hosted blogs are much better from the start because you have full control. This included if you ever want to sell the blog. Though people do sell blogger blogs, it does violate Blogger TOS and could result in the account be deleted. If it is a matter of saving a buck, you can have your own domain and hosting for a year for around $20 now days. It is well worth the small investment.
Blogger is good to use due to easy get approved by adsense. However, the limitation of templete and arrangement is the disadvantage, therefore some people perfer wordpress
Self hosted wordpress. There is NO comparison - there really isn't. If you want to make good money with AdSense you PROBABLY need to forget about the Blogger platform. The more you learn about this, the more you'll see that this is true. With Wordpress you can do a million things that are going to get you SO far ahead it's not even funny. And due to all the people working constantly (many of them for free) on improving the platform, it just keeps getting better and better. Go with Wordpress. You will not look back. Promise.
I prefer Wordpress since you have Lots of Plugins. You can customise it and Looks Professional . I always Advice People to Start up a blog in Sub Domains since it brings good traffic to the Primary Site
If you are a newbie, start with a blogger blog... it is very easy to use. But, if you know a little bit of html,etc... go with wordpress (with your own domain and hosting).

Wordpress is better than blogger. It have a lots of plugin, good seo, can backup your content, very few errors, good price from adsense. (Blogger is revenue sharing).
