Which one is best - One Way links or Two way links or Three Way

I would have to say that 1 way links work the best and are the most effective when acheiving good SEO numbers.

 

Obviously, one way links are the best in regards to SEO. However, I wouldn't say that three-way-linking would be second(by far); it's called cross-linking and as far as I know, Google frowns upon this just as much as two-way linking. Google's not stupid, and just because you intertwined a few sites doesn't mean you're going to slip by unnoticed and pass it off as "one-way non-reciprocal linking".

 

Which is the best method to build one-way links ?
I think directory submissions with low PR are useless for getting good ranking in Google for competitive kw.

 

Directories may help a teeny bit (well, if you submit to wayyyyyyyy too many, way too fast, then you'll be penalized) but your best bit is through either paying someone for a link on their website, or actually writing good content. I read so many posts on this forum where people neglect the part where it takes a lot of time to create good, link-worthy content that other people might need. Your website isn't going to earn if it's crap content & 21390123 backlinks.

 

One way links from seo, article marketing, blogging, and social bookmarking has gotten me thousands of one way back links and all kinds of quality traffic. Nothing beats it for a long term free or nearly free traffic strategy.

 

Ive heard that while three way linking is better than 2 way linking search engines can still recognize and devalue it.
