Which one is best http or http www

    no idea really but now a day they work with both http and www with out any problem

    But, i am not understanding which one to keep, my backlinks come with http://www , so will it affect my pr .

    Google webmaster tools will allow you to choose how these are displayed in the search results (which I would have thought would treat them the same for PR purposes).

    I personally like the look of websites with the 'www', although there is no doubt that you should redirect links without this (or vice versa).

    www and non www version of the same page are considered separate pages. you should have one. I would do the redirect to www; thats most common.
