Which One Is Best Forum Signature Or Blog Commenting

please tell me which is best method of collecting backlink forum signature or blog commenting

 

Blog commenting for some reasons:
1. Higher value of link because of less outgoing links on the page. (most often)
2. Learn to know other website owners, they might come to your site and leave a comment as well.
3. Some websites have PageRank on their articles which you can take advantage of if they allow dofollow comments.
4. I think forum signatures has a lower value then blog commenting to most search engines.

 

it depends on the authority and relativity of either the forum or blog. there may be fewer links out on a blog but if the forum is related to your topic and/or has higher link authority, it may be more valuable...its a very subjective question.

 

The problem with blog commenting is that its usually "no follow" and you are very lucky if webmasters allow's you to put your target keyword. Forum signatures on the other hand is powerful if the forum is fairly trusted by Google and if your posts that contains the SIG can be indexed by them.

 

Well, if you know the ways of finding DoFollow blogs there will be no problems.
In just a week I have posted about 80 comments on dofollow blogs with page PR of 0-5.
It's really not that hard.

It's best to avoid posting in forums or blogs specifically with the idea of gaining links.

Instead, focus on participating naturally in the conversation. Doing so will help your site much more than just posting to get links. Stop thinking about the value of the links in terms of SEO, and start thinking about whether or not you have anything intelligent to say. If you do this, you'll ironically find that you start getting more traffic from the links in forum posts, signatures, and blog comments. Why? If people start to view you as intelligent and having something worthwhile to say, they become more curious to check out your site.

 

There is certainly a way but I am just saying base on my experience and what i'm doing. I'm not a fan of blog commenting because I only drop links in a content (LSI) .

 

The would depend on some aspects such as the composition of the link. If the blog your are linking to doesn't have no folow tags, and the content of the page is relevant to your niche, then that is more beneficial.

 

Blog commenting tends to be quite wasteful as they are pretty much never ever dofollow and most of the time they are moderated so even if you do drop a url type link in your comment, chances are the moderators won't publish it as you are normally a competitor so to me they tend to be a waste of time.

 

It depends on the aspects of your article!

 

Both are equal, backlink is a backlink, it depends on the backlink site quality

Blog Commenting is more beneficial, but most of the time you get trapped by Akismet even if you don't spam.

 

Really? what make you think blog commenting is more benefit? any experience you done on this?

 

My vote goes for Forum Signs ...

 

just google do follow forum and blogs. there are lot's of choices

 

i support blog commenting. but you need to select the blogs ( with do follow link and accepting key word) . but those are rare. but forums also in the other hand very helpful .

 

Blog commenting, if its done in good high rated authority sites, you will obviously have more benefit. However there are very few blogs which are do-follow and are in these ranges. Frankly speaking, backlinks from blog commenting or forum signature, it will depend on that particular page (and not site), how strong the page is in google's eyes. Forum signature also is beneficial only when you are in a good conversion under a valuable thread, instead of just commenting in the General chat section
