webseindia, the way i see it is that a cart is a cart.! What is so good about oscommerce or zencart, if you could be a bit more specific would be nice. Like is there any good free templates for zencart, is it easier to user zencart instead of Magento, etc..please express your experince of the products and I will find that a bit more useful. Is it the best software from a programmer point of view or from a user point of view?
Joomla - best CMS WP - best for blogs Prestashop - best for ecommerce/shopping cart - easy to use and light on server Magento - nice - but not easy to pickup/learn and heavy on server
Joomla works pretty good as a CMS, but many of the decent plugins cost money, or you really have to hunt for them. I've got to put my vote for wordpress simply because of it's flexibility. It's turned into much more than a blogging platform with the numerous free plugins. It can easily be turned into a fully functional storefront. Keep in mind this is from a newb point of view. I just couldn't get Joomla to do everything I wanted easily. I was using 1.5.something. Wordpress seems to have a much larger following, and typing in your topic and following with "wordpress" in google has always answered my questions near the top of the results.
For Blogging Wordpress is Best For E-Commerce Joomla Is best For International Language sites then Drupal Is Best every cms best at its place.
Viart is a good one for sure. not very many templates, but the ones they have look professional and the rest of the software is very good.
Joomla is a nice CMS - pretty flexible and secure - can make a lot of different project, blog, ecommerce, community portal, social network Wordpress blog Drupal - solid CMS for complex project Zen Cart - lot of people tell good comment Magento professional shopping cart - expensive to start from scratch Is always depend of your need!
Voting for Prestashop here - has all the feature most of small ecommerce shops would need. Fast and easy to customize too.
