Firefox is the browser who reached out to the world in a probably best way than any other NEW (meaning besides IE) browser. Now, some recent tests I've seen on the Internet, showed that Safari Browser does it job better than Firefox. IE 8 is getting closer too. I've voted Others even though I use Firefox and that's because there's no Safari version developed for Ubuntu.

I think it really depends on what you use the internet for. I prefer Firefox, but a lot of the sites I use require Internet Explorer, which I really can't stand (it loads way too slow on my computer.) But that's also why I'm hesitant about trying Chrome, since there's probably so many websites that aren't entirely compatible with it.

I use Firefox and Internet Explorer 8 and they both are excellent. The main point is not about which one is better as they both are excellent, but how to keep computers safe using security softwares.

You're right. That's my problem too at the moment. There's no incompatibility since there is Chrome, even though I've tried it and tried to keep it. It's nice, cool and good looking but it's like it's not fully "part of the standards". In a few months, maybe we'll get to say loud and proud "Compatible with Chrome". Like all things takes some time to adjust.

I like Chrome and FireFox. I really don't like the new version of FireFox though. I just kept the older one.

I personally use FireFox currently. I have used in the past, IE,Chrome,Opera... and all of them are good, but if you're looking for one with customization like themes, addons, and etc... I suggest FireFox.

I like Firefox because of all the customize add ons you can install. Its very user friendly for an internet marketer especially when it comes to showing websites page rank, number of site visitors, etc.

    Best for what?

I use IE to get the TBPR of a site, (I don't trust the others).
I use Firefox with the Web Developer Tool Bar for most of my work.
I use Opera for my two most favorite forums, mostly cuz Opera seems quickest.

When I am writing new code to login somewhere, I sometimes have both Firefox
and Opera open so that I can see a page while logged in and while not logged in
    at the same time.

    :D
