Which one is best??? Alexa or compete

hi!!! everybody on every week alexa will be updating rank for website but compete doesnt any change about rank it remains same....so which one is best to see website status and which one is right???

 

In my own opinion and experienced, it's alexa.

 

I'm using Alexa, so for me its Alexa.

 

Alexa has the popularity and the fan following.

If I'm not mistaken compete only tally north america web surfers whereas alexa track any pc that has its tracking cookies on it. It could be its toolbar or any other alexa cookies that come with some kind of installation that we unaware off because not reading the terms.

 

alexa is way better.Its been out there for a while and has been doing a great job!

Both are less than awesome but still can give some very approximate data. I look at both.

 

Without a doubt, its Alexa. But alexa too is not always reliable. The stats are not accurate enough. But anyway its better than its rival

since neither alexa nor compete are not giving the exact details,
i am using both to estimate the website

 

I like alexa but find that the data is not that great, really depends on what you want to use it for. Alexa can be to manipulated to an extent also.

 

i like google analytics as it returns somewhat accurate data as to my knowledge
