Which one is a better URL? /abc.aspx or /abc

I was optimizing a site and there is a problem for me.
I was doing URL rewriting for my site. Just want to ask which URL will be better:
www. xyz .com/abc.aspx or
www. xyz .com/abc ?
Which one will be good for search engines?

it doesn't matter for SEs. i too like www. xyz .com/abc because is a little easy to remember.

From SEO point of view both are same.
However, the short and sweet name would be nice.
