i'm trying to setup some static page blogs targeting specific niche keywords where each blog will have a min of 10 articles squidoo vs wordpress vs blogger what do you think is best in terms of seo and ranking etc ? or any other suggestions ?
I'd personally go with blogger or wordpress first. You could use squidoo and sites like them to create a link funnel. I know recetnly squidoo made some changes and it might have a little more consideration from Google, or not.
According to me Blogger and Wordpress both are good. As far as SEO point of view is concerned it depends upon the quality of links that your website is pointing to. So think from user point of view and find out which website is giving you more user friendly design & flexibility and accordingly choose that one. All the best! Cheers!
Exactly! Blogger and Wordpress always stands apart though Squido is also gaining importance from Google, but flexibility of link and design is very significant.
How long is a piece of string? Your question is like that. Weight, ie pank rank is based on webpages not a website. Squidoo might have a PR of 8 for the index page but 0 for the page you use for your link. So to answer your question, the site itself is not as important as the page where you have your link.
If you are askin 4rm the SE point of view out of three of'em the most wieghtage is given to Squidoo , then comes blogger and then Wordpress.
I think that wordpress is better that blogger. it gets index and Pr from tag, that are posted on main domain. But blogger with good BL gets index faster.
i'm not going in to design point of view.. i think squidoo is good for some pages with less activity.. if you are very active wordpress/blogger will do.. i have also seen many squidoo pages appear in SERP with lesser backlinks
If Wordpress is stand alone on my own site with my own domain then I would say WordPress. All things being equal I would likely use Squidoo.
I would go for Blogger or Wordpress first. Both of them has easy user interface and main domain are that strength. Blogger used to be more powerful in the past (2 years ago may be) but Google has done on de-valued them since many webmasters abused it.
