Which of this links is power for seo?
1-backlink from page with PR5 and domain .com
2-backlink from page with PR2 and domain .edu

I've done some testing with regard to .EDU and .GOV backlinks and have found that they do provide some extra juice compared to their exact counterparts, but nothing near 1,000 times more powerful which would be the difference between a 5 and a 2 (since PR is exponential)

 

Why don't try to get both? However #1 is best as it has high PR.

 

.edu is the same as .com
so ,pr5 is the point

 

.edu is generally considered high trust, but so is PR5. There's a lot of factors in play that make hard one to say, but it's likely the PR5 will give you more link juice.

 

I also make research on .edu and .gov site and really those type of link are comparatively very high valuable than the link from .com site.

If you want to seo of your website than you should go for backlink from page with PR5 and domain .com. Because .com is used for worldwide as compare to .edu

Go for both lol.

PR5 in my experience gives the most link juice, but a .edu has lots of power too.

I would almost say it's a tie, but I'll have to go with the PR5...
