Creating a new site soon and was wondering about SEO and the domain name I choose. In the past I just made the domain name relevant to my site but this time I want to put a little more thought into it, SEO wise. I have narrowed myself down to 3 domains and was wondering which will help my site rank higher easier. All three have similar keywords but are a little different. beginawebsite.com, beginningawesbsite.com, startingupawebsite.com. Normally I like to keep my domains as short as possible, but even though these domains are multiple words, I think its ok . Which has the best keywords to help get my site the highest possible in google's rankings and why?? Any help or insight on this would be greatly appreciated, thanks (Also this post may have been better off posted in the keywords section, new to this site and did not see that at first so sorry about that.)
all 3 choices are relatively similar. "website" obviously is a keyword you can't change start / set up / startup are all good choices to replace begin, not really a fan of the "begin" however all .coms of them with website (including with hyphen) are all taken how about adding a "new" infront?
What do you think about startingup instead of startup?? Because I actually own startingupawebsite.com
Well if you already own it, you might as well just use it, else it is $10 wasted. (saw that you reg it 5th April)
I'm not really too worried about the $10, I had bought the domain this morning and just wanted to get some other peoples opinions.
i'd recommend doing keyword research on the domains keywords. like "starting up a website" "beginning a website". see what has the most traffic, compare competition with the keywords. best of luck.
